VIDEO: Danielle Lloyd alarmed viewers after revealing what contributed to her skin cancer: It’s something people still do every day…

Danielle Lloyd has shared distressing news with her fans, revealing that she has been diagnosed with skin cancer.

The 41-year-old model and former Miss Great Britain took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, February 14, to open up about her health battle.

Known for her candidness regarding personal struggles, the mother of five used her platform to raise awareness and urge people to monitor their health.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star spoke emotionally in a video, struggling to find the right words to share her diagnosis.

“I don’t really know how to say this, and I wasn’t sure whether to come on here, but I feel like it’s important to raise awareness.

Today, I was diagnosed with a form of skin cancer,” she revealed in the heartfelt clip.

Overcome with emotion, Danielle encouraged her followers to take any unusual marks or changes in their skin seriously. “Anyone who thinks they’ve got something strange on their body—please see your doctor. You just never know,” she warned, her voice shaking as she tried to hold back tears.

Undergoing Further Tests and Surgery

Danielle expressed gratitude towards her medical team for their care and support, explaining that she now faces surgery to assess the severity of the condition. “I have to have an operation to determine whether it has spread,” she said, acknowledging the uncertainty that lies ahead.

The model also took the opportunity to stress the importance of skin protection, advising her followers to be cautious about sun exposure. “Look after your skin, stay away from sunbeds, and always wear SPF 50. You just never know what’s going to happen,” she urged.

A Loving Mother of Five

Danielle, who is a devoted mother, has five children who remain her top priority during this challenging time. She shares two children, Ronnie, six, and Autumn Rose, two, with her husband, Michael O’Neill. Additionally, she has three older sons—Archie, 13, George, 12, and Harry, 10—from her previous marriage to footballer Jamie O’Hara.

A Well-Known Face in the Entertainment Industry

Before becoming a beloved television personality, Danielle earned recognition in the modeling world. She won the title of Miss England in 2004 and later became Miss Great Britain in 2006. That same year, she made headlines by posing nude for the cover of Playboy magazine and appearing in various men’s lifestyle publications, including Zoo Weekly, Nuts, and Loaded.

Her television career took off in 2007 when she participated in Celebrity Big Brother, and she later appeared in various reality shows, such as Come Dine with Me, Splash!, and Get Your Act Together. In 2023, she joined the fifth season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, where she was part of a star-studded lineup featuring singer Gareth Gates, former MP Matt Hancock, and Love Island’s Teddy Soares.

Raising Awareness and Spreading Hope

Despite the shock of her diagnosis, Danielle is using her platform to encourage others to take proactive steps for their health. Her emotional plea for awareness has already sparked conversations about the importance of skin checks and cancer prevention.

As she prepares for the next stage of her medical journey, Danielle continues to receive an outpouring of support from fans, friends, and loved ones. Her bravery in sharing her experience highlights the significance of early detection and self-care, serving as a powerful reminder to prioritize health and well-being.
