Jennifer Garner looked somber while stepping out for a walk with her friends and her adorable pooch in Los Angeles.

The 52-year-old movie star – who reprised her iconic Elektra role in the Deadpool VS Wolverine film – cut a casual figure in leggings and a black tee.

Adding a sweater tied around her waist.

Her sighting comes after DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that her and Ben Affleck’s daughter Violet, 18.

Has been taking a stand against her dad’s reported looming divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

‘Violet does wish her dad Ben would stay with JLo. She wasn’t living in their house and did not see the extent of the breakdown.

But she got extremely close to JLo over the past couple of years and it broke her heart when they split,’ a source revealed.

The source added: ‘She is not going to stop talking to JLO and recently enjoyed time in the Hamptons with her.’

Violet wore Jennifer’s Dolce & Gabbana dress – the one she wore with Ben on Valentine’s day last year.

The teen, who recently championed the return of mask mandates, wore her stepmother’s dress as a statement to show how close she is to Jennifer after she was left ‘heartbroken’ over their split. 

‘Wearing her soon-to-be former stepmom’s Valentine’s Day dress was a bit of a statement – she knew was she was doing. Those close to her thought it was bizarre,’ the insider said.

She wore the dress while stepping out with her step-siblings Max and Emma – Jennifer’s kids with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

The teen also spent time with Jennifer in the Hamptons in July. 

‘Ben is neither bothered or unbothered by Violet’s closeness with JLo, as Violet is an adult and can have relationships with anyone she chooses. Unfortunately for her, wearing JLo’s dress in public is not going to affect Ben’s divorce at all.’

The insider said that Violet has been ‘championing them getting back together.’

‘Violet is a Daddy’s girl and a family first person and is best friends with JLo’s kids. She considers them her sister and brother,’ the source said.

‘Ben has been so amazing to Max and Emmie and is a wonderful father and father figure so of course they would all love for their parents to find a way to be together,’ the insider noted.

Earlier this summer,  Ben and Jennifer attended his daughter Violet’s graduation party, and were seen holding hands before leaving in separate cars to return to their own residences.

Their joint sighting came amid rumors of marital woes, just two years after they tied the knot. 

Jennifer is mom to Emme, 16 – who’s used they/them pronouns since 2022 – and twin brother Maximilian David Muñiz; she shares her children with ex husband Marc Anthony, whom she was married to for seven years until 2011.

Ben is dad to three children: Violet, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Lopez has been divorced three times. The singer’s first marriage was to Cuban actor Ojani Noa, 49, in 1997. It only lasted 11 months.

She tied the knot again with choreographer Cris Judd, 54, in 2001 but they were divorced by 2003.

She then wed Marc Anthony, before reuniting with Affleck following their divorce.

Ben and Jennifer Garner were married from 2005 until they split in 2018.
