Lady Gaga subtly suggested issues in her relationship with her fiancé after making an odd remark following her SNL appearance.

Lady Gaga took Saturday Night Live by storm on March 7, 2025, as she hosted and performed as the musical guest on the same night.

The pop icon, known for her larger-than-life performances and ever-evolving style,

treated the SNL audience to two electrifying live performances from her newly released album, Mayhem.

For her first performance of the evening, Lady Gaga belted out “Abracadabra”, a track from Mayhem, which dropped just a day before her SNL appearance.

The singer donned a replica of the outfit from the music video for the song, channeling her trademark avant-garde aesthetic with a modern twist.

The set was a feast for the eyes and ears, with Gaga’s powerful vocals and magnetic stage presence taking center stage, much to the excitement of her devoted fans.

Later in the show, Gaga returned to the stage to perform “Killah”, another standout track from the album.

This second performance was an explosion of color and energy, with Gaga showcasing her range both musically and visually. The stage setup was vibrant, and her vocal delivery was as commanding as ever, making it clear that she was back with a vengeance, bringing her pop roots to new, exciting heights.

The release of Mayhem marks a significant chapter in Gaga’s musical career. With 14 tracks, including the previously released songs “Disease” and “Abracadabra”, the album introduces a fresh yet nostalgic sound that sees the artist returning to her pop roots in a bold and innovative way. Gaga has stated that Mayhem was a project deeply rooted in her journey of rediscovery, where she faced her fears of returning to the pop genre that her earliest fans loved. The album’s theme is one of reassembly, much like a shattered mirror: though the pieces can never be perfectly put back together, the end result is something beautiful in its own unique way.

Gaga described the process of making the album as a “shattered mirror,” stating that she wanted to create something new and meaningful while honoring the past. Her dedication to reinventing herself while staying true to her origins is evident in the sound and message of Mayhem. As the album explores new musical territory, it still carries the emotional depth and artistic bravado Gaga is known for. Fans can expect a mix of powerful ballads and catchy pop anthems, along with collaborations that reflect Gaga’s growth as both an artist and a person.

Mayhem is Gaga’s latest album, following a string of successful releases, including The Fame (2008), The Fame Monster (2009), Born This Way (2011), Artpop (2013), Joanne (2016), and Chromatica (2020). In addition to her solo projects, Lady Gaga has teamed up with Tony Bennett for two jazz albums, Cheek to Cheek (2014) and Love for Sale (2021), as well as contributing to several movie soundtracks, including A Star Is Born (2018), Top Gun: Maverick (2022), and the upcoming Harlequin (2024) and Joker: Folie à Deux (2024).

As Lady Gaga continues to dominate the music industry, she is also receiving well-deserved accolades for her contributions to music and culture. She is set to be honored with the Innovator Award at the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 17, 2025, a testament to her lasting impact on the music world. Additionally, she is scheduled to headline Coachella in April, where fans can expect more thrilling performances.

With Mayhem, Lady Gaga has proven once again that she’s not just a pop star—she’s a true innovator in every sense of the word. Whether performing on stage, making waves in the music industry, or pushing creative boundaries, Lady Gaga continues to inspire and entertain audiences worldwide. Fans of her bold, transformative style can now purchase and stream Mayhem, an album that marks yet another exciting phase in the singer’s ever-evolving career.
